Hydraulic lifts: testing procedures

In order to test the protection means against uncontrolled upward car movement, the car shall be empty and all landing doors shall be closed.

The following steps shall be followed carefully with respect to all safety rules:

• Move the car on the floor below the top landing.
• Interrupt the safety chain.
• Simulate an “open door” status by disconnecting the wire from the terminal.
• /…/
• Type ABC in the hand terminal menu and press OK. With this special command, the system will apply a short to the door safeties when a call is registered for as long as the lift is in the landing zone.
• Alternatively to Steps 2-4, open slightly the top landing door and place an obstacle in order to remain open. In this case a barrier has to be placed in front of the landing door, in order to ensure that no unauthorized person will be close to it.
• Enter a call to the lower level through the hand terminal.
• As soon the car leaves the releveling zone, the releveling circuit will stop the safety chain bridging, resulting the engagement of the brake and the stoppage of the car.
• The controller goes out of order with a permanent error “XXX Fault” which can be reset only by entering the code and pressing OK in the hand terminal menu.

Per verificare il funzionamento delle protezioni contro il movimento incontrollato della cabina in salita, la cabina deve essere vuota e tutte le porte di piano devono essere chiuse.

Effettuare i seguenti passi con attenzione e secondo le norme di sicurezza:

• Portare la cabina al piano di sotto a quello della fermata più alta.
• Interrompere la catena delle sicurezze.
• Simulare lo stato di “porta aperta” scollegando il cavo dal terminale.

• Digitare ABC nel menù della pulsantiera a mano e premere OK. Con questo commando specifico, il sistema mette in corto le sicurezze della porta quando viene registrata una chiamata, quando l’ascensore rimane nella zona di sbloccaggio porte.
• Alternativamente ai passi 2-4, aprire leggermente la porta del piano più alto e piazzare un ostacolo per tenerla aperta. In questo caso, posizionare una barra di fronte alla porta di piano per evitare avvicinamenti di persone non autorizzate.
• Chiamare l’ascensore ad un livello inferiore, tramite la pulsantiera a mano.
• Non appena la cabina lascia la zona di livellamento, il circuito di livellamento disattiva il ponticello della catena delle sicurezze, che porta all’attivazione del freno e ferma la cabina.
• Il controllore va fuori servizio in seguito all’errore permanente “XXX Fault” che può essere ripristinato solamente digitando il codice e premendo OK nel menù della pulsantiera a mano.
