For a Polish dealer of an Italian manufacturer of picking trolleys, mobile towers, personnel platforms, scaffolding, ladders and other equipment for safe working at height, I translate the operating and maintenance manuals needed for the mandatory approval by the Polish national Technical Inspection Authority.
Several years’ cooperation with an Italian integrator of production lines for aluminium gravity casting. Translation and interpretation from Italian and Polish during the assembly and commissioning of three automatic casting lines in Poland.
For each line, I translated the technical documentation, operating and maintenance manuals, and performed the localisation of the software and PLC messages.
Interpreting during installation and training in the operation and maintenance of an industrial post-processing water treatment plant at an aerospace production facility.
The training included theoretical information on the construction of the individual devices that make up the station as well as practical exercises on the operation of the evaporator, sedimentation tank, filters or reverse osmosis station.
For an Italian lacquer and paint manufacturer, I delivered a complex project involving a range of industry texts translated from Italian and English into Polish:

As a former foundry employee, I often translate foundry-related content. I also interpreted during the assembly of both high-pressure and gravity die casting machines.
I co-operate with a manufacturer of fully automatic gravity casting lines, equipped not only with permanent mould-casting machines, but also with ladling, extraction and trimming robots. I also translated instructions for the use of melting furnaces and participated in their assembly and maintenance.
What I mainly specialise in are translations related to mechanical metal processing. From the very beginning I have been cooperating with CNC machine manufacturers (lathes, milling machines, lathes and milling machines) as well as with companies that have such machines in their machinery parks. I translate operating and maintenance instructions, orders for service work, control software, acceptance protocols, and instructions for auxiliary equipment. I also interpret during assembly of such machines, trainings of operation, maintenance and programming, as well as during service works carried out locally or remotely.

During one of the most interesting translation project I was involved in the translation of documents for a helicopter flight training school.
One of my first large and important projects included a series of a dozen use and maintenance instructions of sawing machines and metal cutting saws. As a beginner translator then, I spent many hours searching for the right words and trying to work out the right work system. However, the effect was good, as the cooperation with that client lasted for several years.
